Chris Jericho comes out to confront Dean Ambrose. Jericho talks about his expensive shoes, $750 a shoe and then Ambrose makes fun of his shoes and scarf. This leads to both men attacking the other, with Jericho getting the upper hand with a Walls of Jericho on the announce table.

Let me be the first to say that Chris Jericho plays an excellent heel. He really does and does things so simplistic but effective. He is carrying Dean Ambrose along here and I just am not sure why I am not invested more in Ambrose. I sound like a broken record, but Dean Ambrose has not had a moment that stands out in my mind. He is the definition of average to me. Yes, he can wrestle. Yes, he can talk. Where is the “wow” factor with Dean? Jericho seems to STILL be on another level than Ambrose and that says something since the guy has been relevant since 1999.

Dolph on the Attack

Baron Corbin made his way down the ramp to face Damien Sandow, but Dolph Ziggler attacks him from behind. Doing what Corbin has done to him in the past, Ziggler gets his hands on the new guy. I really thought this was so much better than a squash match with Sandow. Dolph needs to show a little more edge, more aggression and become a more serious and well developed gimmick. He will always get over with “The Show Off” gimmick, but there has been little time over the past year where he stepped outside of that and got serious. This could be a great time for him to do that, against a guy who oozes bad guy vibes.
