The Top 10 Best Cage Matches of All-Time

9. Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon (St. Valentine’s Day Massacre 1999)

Sometimes the only thing that matters is if an audience is entertained. This match was one of the most entertaining ever. McMahon grabbed that Royal Rumble win and everyone wanted to see him go down. And he did, in amazing style and manner.

McMahon had his ass kicked all over the cage. He was bloodied, shaken, thrown through tables, he flipped birds, he was really the best heel of them all. On top of all this, he was feuding with Austin and there was a bit of shock value, as Vince wasn’t so frequently in the fights. To make it more memorable, this Cage match was an entry point for Paul Wight. Instead of helping Vince, he helped Austin win the match. The audience was happy, as it also meant that Steve would get his chance to take on The Rock.
