What Is Next for NXT?

With a historic night, maybe wonder what is next. With Shinsuke and Samoa, they can really continue this feud for another 2-3 months. NXT does a great job at stretching out feuds due to their television schedule. With one hour each week, we can go 2-3 weeks without actually seeing Nakamura and Joe in the ring together. I think they need to continue to tease Joe’s injury, furthering a more personal feud between the two men.

I do think Bobby Roode is going to be MONEY. His entrance and his look is spectacular. It is about finding the right guy for him to feud with. How about Tye for a month or two? It gives Tye importance and how fun can both of their gimmicks be with the other. Austin Aries and Hideo Itami is a PERFECT fit for both men. Aries is very good, smooth and careful in the ring. Itami needs a guy who is over with the crowd and who knows how to be a natural heel.

As for Asuka, is there anyone aside from Ember Moon and Billie Kay that would be an option for her? Is she a heel or is she a face? It is still hard to really tell, but there is going to be some big decisions ahead for creative. Either way, NXT Brooklyn showed that Triple H knows how to reload talent and they are still in a great and fruitful situation.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
