Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “Dean Ambrose Is Not World Championship Material”

AJ Styles vs. Apollo Crews

The new face that runs the place gets interrupted and a match ensues with him and Crews. Crews hits a moonsault and then a nice suplex. AJ hits a nice forearm and then goes up top. Apollo catches him and turns it into a Samoan Drop. Apollo Crews heads to the top, but AJ avoids the attack. He kicks him and snaps his neck off the top rope. Styles sets him up and delivers a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

Good outing for both guys and a nice and fresh match that we have not really seen before. Yes, we knew who was going to win but AJ Styles always puts on a good match. It can be 5 minutes or 25. I like how AJ Styles is continuing to run with being the face that runs the place in place of John Cena. He is so good as being so cocky, but not too much because he still gets the respect cheers from the crowd.

Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton

Another solid promo by Bray Wyatt on WWE Smackdown Live, talking about the usual being a God and being able to kill the Viper. He talks about Randy being damages and out comes the Viper. Randy Orton talks about how he did get beaten up, but he is here and he is wanting to fight. He says he is not scared of Bray Wyatt and accepts his challenge for Backlash. Randy gets into the ring and the lights go out. The segment ends.

Uh, what the hell was that? How that ended was terrible and a really poor decision to just end it like that and not turn the lights back on with no Bray Wyatt to be seen. I like the pairing of these two, but can we please not rush something in two weeks? Can we have these guys go back and forth for months, giving a big moment to Bray Wyatt when he NEEDS it? Randy and Bray are so different and Orton needs to look vulnerable in this feud. When will Bray Wyatt get back to his popularity of when he faced John Cena at WrestleMania XXX? This is a constant plea to WWE.
