Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “Is Ellsworth’s Time Finally Up?”

MizTV featured Daniel Bryan announcing the Survivor Series team. It includes Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. This enrages The Miz and his jabs to Daniel Bryan get thrown. Daniel Bryan talks about how The Miz does not want to fight and how he is weak. This brings out Dolph Ziggler. The Miz and Dolph get into it and Dolph ends up saying he is making matches on his terms now.

Curt Hawkins answers the challenge, gets Superkicked and loses to Dolph Ziggler tonight. Ziggler announces an open challenge to anyone on RAW for Survivor Series. The Miz flips out at ringside.

I thought this segment was really strong from all parts. WWE continues to build Daniel Bryan and The Miz, while making sure we know that Dolph Ziggler is basically “Daniel Bryan’s boy.” With a quick win (terrible way of debuting Hawkins in the ring), Dolph issued a challenge. I do not think he loses at Survivor Series to a RAW guy, but it brings up quite the conundrum. What happens if a RAW superstar wins? Does the title go with him or does he come to the title? It could make for an intriguing storyline down the road. Also, The Miz is just too good right now on the mic. He is thriving and carrying these segments.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
