He did it again. Chris Jericho is the best all-around talent in the WWE. At the ripe age of 46 years, Jericho brought a memorable highlight reel to WWE RAW. He showed a picture of 16 year old Kevin Owens with a Y2J shirt on. He then showed a group of DM’s from Kevin Owens when he was first signed by WWE and asked for advice. Chris Jericho says he is Kevin’s hero, his idol. He talks about how he is going to feel beating Owens at WrestleMania and how Owens will feel when he sees Jericho walking down the ramp. As Jericho turns from funny to serious, Samoa Joe walks out. Kevin Owens attacks him from behind and lays out Jericho with a pop-up powerbomb. Kevin stands tall tonight.

Wow, talk about a great segment fueled by emotion, real-life details and Chris Jericho continuing to impress. I loved it and thought it did even more to hype up their match at WrestleMania. This is the match many are anticipating to see the most. They have done it all together since August and adding some of Kevin Owens’ childhood was icing on the cake. Credit to both men for making this storyline excellent, but Chris Jericho absolutely killed it tonight. Excellent work and an excellent feeling of drama and anticipation tonight.

Cesaro and Sheamus Win

A quick match that Stephanie McMahon made, Cesaro and Sheamus had to beat the other four men to solidify their spot at WrestleMania. After a brief match that showed Anderson and Gallows attack Enzo and Big Cass and led to their loss. Although it didn’t make much sense for Gallows and Anderson to attack their teammates and let Cesaro and Sheamus get an easier match, I did slightly know what they were trying to do. They want the spotlight, not anyone else. Enzo and Big Cass steal the spotlight every night, so why not let the champions try to shut them up? I like this match at WrestleMania and think that you will be getting a really good bout between three different, yet unique, teams.

Maybe next week we can get a Triple Threat Match between Cass, Cesaro and Anderson. Why not?
