Next week, it will be Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Randy Orton, with the winner getting a shot at Jinder Mahal. This week, they teamed up to take on Rusev and Mahal in the main event.  The two men fended off The Singh Brothers and tosses Mahal to the outside. Rusev ate a knee from the ropes and then a Kinsasha from Shinsuke. Nakamura picked up the win, but also picked up a surprise RKO from his partner. Randy Orton sent a statement, loud and clear, that he wants another championship opportunity.

I like Randy vs. Shinsuke, even though this is a PPV quality match. We are getting these each week, so it is hard to complain. They are making shows more interesting and the buzz all week brings more eyes to the product (hopefully). In this match, I see Rusev interfering and costing Randy Orton. I cannot see WWE going away from Shinsuke vs. Jinder and giving Rusev another shot at getting revenge at Randy. Both feuds are solid, but there needs to be more depth to them. Take notes from Shane and Kevin. Make it more about a personal conflict. In the long run, WWE should think about Nakamura vs. Orton to carry World Championship feuds before heading into 2018. Next week will be a nice taste. The main event tonight was solid, but predictable.
