Sting may be the greatest wrestler to never work for an extended period of time in WWE. When looking at his point of view in the early 2000s, it’s easy to understand why. He saw how Booker T was used in WWE and felt that WCW stars were only there to make WWE guys look better.

So instead, he chose to take his talents to TNA, where he accomplished a tremendous amount. The TNA run in his career is quite underrated because he worked with talent that he had never really been involved with before. Many of these were the up and comers who would go on to become huge stars later on.

But Vince McMahon being the man that he is, told Sting that he knew they were going to do business together someday. And true to his word, they did. Even if it just involved two matches, it was surreal to see Sting inside a WWE ring.

Let’s take a look at The Icon‘s greatest moments inside the squared circle.
