#4.) vs Jeff Hardy – Bound For Glory 2012
The Aries-Jeff Hardy storyline from 2012 is quite an underrated one. Jeff Hardy had won the Bound For Glory series to earn a world title shot at Aries. While they were still allies, Aries was evidently jealous of the popularity that Hardy had with the fans. Despite Hardy even saving Aries from a post-match beatdown, Aries continued to treat him bad and it led to a lot of friction between them.
It culminated in a big heel turn for Aries before the PPV. The main event of BFG that year was an incredible one, with Aries and Hardy proving that they had excellent chemistry together. It felt like a legit main event feud and the payoff was even greater, as Hardy defeated Aries to capture the title. The match they had after that, however, was an even more memorable one.
