#5.) vs 1-2-3 Kid – RAW 1994

Not only is this possibly the most underrated match of Bret Hart’s career, but it’s also one of the most underrated matches in RAW history. Bret Hart was the reigning WWF Champion, and nobody could stop him. He took on the 1-2-3 Kid in a defense of his WWE title. The 1-2-3 Kid was naturally a big underdog. After Bret Hart ensured that Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart weren’t ringside the match would begin.

This was a 20-minute no-nonsense contest. It was incredible on every level, showcasing just how good the 1-2-3 Kid was, and how he shockingly took Bret Hart to his limits. With “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Jim Ross calling the contest and an electric crowd, Hart and the 1-2-3 Kid put on the performance of a lifetime. The 1-2-3 Kid came close to finishing Hart on many occasions, and it was one mistake that he made that allowed Hart to capitalize and submit him.

After the match, Savage and Ross were giving them an ovation, declaring it as one of the best matches they had ever seen. Hart endorsed the 1-2-3 Kid, showing him respect.
