#5.) vs. Mankind & The Undertaker – RAW is War 1997

Shawn Michaels and Triple H had a big challenge in their hands as they took on the dynamic duo of Mankind and The Undertaker in a tag team contest on RAW is War. In any other era, this would have been a dream match, but this was just another RAW. Either way, the match was a good display of Triple H and Shawn Michaels’ cunning teamwork as heels.

Mankind and The Undertaker had been feuding against one other just a year prior, but here, they were teaming together. The prior week, Rick Rude had revealed himself to be Michaels’ bodyguard, and he had an impact on this match too. Though he interfered and Undertaker nearly got him, Michaels ended up costing himself and Triple H the match after a brutal chair shot to the head of The Phenom.

The Undertaker was instantly busted open (which in hindsight, can make anyone understand why WWE banned it years later) and DX fled away. Though it was a relatively short match, it was great while it lasted and ended in absolute chaos.
