#4.) The Undertaker vs Batista

In 2007, Royal Rumble winner The Undertaker chose then-World Heavyweight Champion Batista as his opponent for WrestleMania 23. It was confusing for fans as to who to cheer for because Batista had been established as the face of SmackDown by that point. The Undertaker, naturally, was always as popular as he was and it showed on the night of WrestleMania when fans booed the otherwise well-liked Batista.

However, their rivalry was quite an intense one despite both being babyfaces. It was clear that they couldn’t stand the sight of each other and were constantly at odds with one another. It led to a heated feud and an incredible match at WrestleMania 23, where Batista was defeated by The Undertaker, who extended his streak.

Their rivalry would continue afterward too, but an untimely injury to The Undertaker halted it, with the two only resuming their rivalry later in the year.
