#5.) Trish Stratus

You’re probably confused as to why we excluded Ric Flair and included Stratus, who has come back for multiple matches since retiring. However, Flair’s circumstances were very different, whereas Stratus occasional appearances are for very important reasons that either further someone else’s career or a storyline.

Stratus’ final hurrah would be in her home country of Canada at Unforgiven 2006 against none other than her greatest rival – Lita. It was for the Women’s Championship and Stratus knew that it was her final opportunity at the gold. While it’s commonplace for superstars to go out on their back, Stratus’ case is one of those exceptions.

The circumstance made it simply too perfect and Stratus got to beat her rival one last time and hold her final Women’s Championship. It was the perfect ending to one of the most legendary careers in WWE’s Women’s division.
