André The Giant’s feud with Hulk Hogan is one of the most famous and beloved rivalries in the history of wrestling. We’re all familiar with the famous WrestleMania 3 match where Hulk Hogan was the underdog babyface champion while André was the monster heel. However, many years before in 1980, the two were feuding for the first time with their roles reversed.
André would be the victor on these occasions and it’s quite surreal to think that much before their famous feud, Hogan was the heel and André the beloved babyface. How things can change in just a few years time.
