Update On Shane McMahon’s WWE Status

Shane McMahon returned to WWE television for the first time in several months at SmackDown 1000. This wasn’t just a one-off appearance, though, as the SmackDown Live commissioner will soon be back to being a regular fixture on WWE programming. PWInsider is reporting that McMahon will be working alongside SmackDown Live General Manager Paige in the weeks to come and will be used in storylines.

The son of Vince McMahon was included in a memorable feud earlier this year when he teamed up with a returning Daniel Bryan (who was then the SmackDown Live General Manager) to take on the team of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania. The duo won the match despite McMahon suffering from diverticulitis in real life.
