Alexa Bliss has reportedly been cleared to return to action after spending time on the sidelines due to concussion like symptoms.

According to Mark Henry on today’s episode of Busted Open Radio, Bliss is now cleared for an in-ring return by WWE. Henry said:

A really good friend of mine, Chris Nowinski—and we’ve talked to Chris before—had concussion syndrome, and had to stop wrestling because of it. I wanted to talk to her to see how she was. We sat for about 15-20 minutes, and [Alexa] was like ‘I was really bad off. I couldn’t remember where I was. I couldn’t remember what I was doing. We were flying from London to Switzerland and I couldn’t remember what flight or anything. I had to rely on everybody else telling me what to do. I couldn’t stand up straight, I had vertigo.’ And I was like ‘wow, she was in a bad way.’

She came back too soon, banged her head again, and really was in a bad place. Now, she’s fine, she’s been cleared. We’re very happy that she’s going to be back in the fray, and I just wanted to remind her of who she was. I was like ‘don’t go back too soon if you’re not ready.’

Henry said there’s no set date for Bliss’ in-ring return [as told to him by Bliss], but that it would be soon because she’s 100% cleared.

Bliss had already noted on Twitter that she started training towards an in-ring return, but did not indicate how soon she would return to the ring. Bliss has been sidelined since October 19th, and has been seen recently serving as captain of the RAW Women’s Survivor Series team and assistant to Baron Corbin.
