Cody Rhodes Reveals Jacksonville Jaguars Themed Wrestle Kingdom 13 Weight Belt

Cody Rhodes just revealed his weight belt for Wrestle Kingdom 13, and it bears a striking resemblance to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ team branding.

“The American Nightmare” continued to stir the pot of the many All Elite Wrestling rumors after first asking fans on Twitter if they’d like to see the weight belt he had made for next week’s event in Japan. Cody then posted the photo featuring a weight belt that reads “Won’t Back Down” in the color scheme of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Eagle-eyed fans will also notice that the typeface on the belt is the same lettering seen in the Jags’ primary wordmark.

All Elite Wrestling is believed to have the financial backing of the Khan family, who also own the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, hence the significance of this weight belt. Team owner Shahid Khan’s son, Tony, has been linked to the wrestling promotion, and trademark filings for AEW also share the address of the Jags’ field, TIAA Bank Stadium. Furthermore, Cody Rhodes was also seen in the owner’s box at a recent Jaguars game.

We have a little under four days before we find out what’s really going on, but that clock can’t tick away fast enough.
