Ronda Rousey To Defend RAW Women’s Championship Against Ruby Riott At Elimination Chamber

WWE has officially announced that RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will defend her championship at February 17th’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Rousey’s challenger will be none other than Ruby Riott of The Riott Squad.

WWE tweeted the following:

Rousey successfully defended her RAW Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks at last month’s Royal Rumble event. Ruby Riott participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, entering the field from the 21 spot. Riott was eliminated from the event by Banks’ Elimination Chamber partner, Bayley. Becky Lynch won the second ever Women’s Royal Rumble after entering the match in controversial fashion, replacing an injured Lana. Lynch win granted her the opportunity to challenge for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Riott’s Riott Squad partners, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, will also wrestle at the pay-per-view. The duo are scheduled to compete in the six team Elimination Chamber Match, with the winners being crowned the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
