Johnny Impact Quits Team IMPACT Before United We Stand, Will Compete In Ultimate X Match Instead

Johnny Impact’s new attitude isn’t exactly team friendly and the IMPACT World Champion’s latest move is proof of that. Team IMPACT is set to face off against Team Lucha Underground at the upcoming New York City show United We Stand, and Impact happened to be the captain of Team IMPACT, but not anymore.  Johnny decided he didn’t want to tag with that “mouth-breathing” Brian Cage (his words not mine) and instead decides to make history by partaking in the Ultimate X match at the same show. Cage is set to face Impact at Rebellion on April 28 in Toronto, ON and Impact seems to want to wait until then to have any interaction with “The Machine.”

Alongside Impact, competing in the Ultimate X match will be Jake Crist vs. Jack Evans vs. Kotto Brazil vs. Pat Buck vs. Dante Fox. No word on who Impact’s replacement will be for the tag match.
