The World Wrestling Entertainment’s Hall of Fame ceremony took a nasty turn tonight when a fan attacked Bret Hart. Thankfully, a number of superstars stopped anything terrible happening to Hart, and Dash Wilder delivered a great punch to the attacker. Now the company has issued an official statement.
“An over-exuberant fan surpassed our security at ringside and made his way briefly into the ring,” said WWE to Fightful. “The individual has been turned over to the proper authorities.”
