Travis Browne on Bret Hart’s Attacker: ‘Just Let Him Disappear’

When a random audience member interrupted the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame induction of the Hart Foundation, Travis Browne – Ronda Rousey’s husband and longtime UFC fighter – was one of the first people in the ring to subdue the man.

In a new video posted to Rousey’s YouTube channel, Browne discussed the incidence, preferring to not discuss the man so much as to keep the focus all on Bret Hart and the induction itself. “This guy shouldn’t even ever be mentioned again…this guy needs to disappear and go back into the nothing of which this piece of s*** was born,” he said, before praising Hart for how he handled it. “Bret is an amazing man, he’s a fricking legend…he said thank you, I said of course, any man would do the same thing.”

As Browne said, the two seemed to forget about the issue shortly after, and asked everyone to try and do the same. After revealing that the man who attempted to attack Hart was put in jail later that night, Browne said that the best way to move on from things like this are letting those types of people disappear, as to not add any more publicity to their actions.
