Darby Allin, A-Kid, More Confirmed For PWG’s 2019 Battle of Los Angeles

In a series of tweets that started on July 1, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has begun to announce the participants in this year’s rendition of the annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament. One of PWG’s premiere events every year, the Battle of Los Angeles has previously featured such stars as Kenny Omega, Kyle O’Riley, Adam Cole, Sami Zayn, and Ricochet.

Participant number one is A-Kid, a rising young star out of Spain who’s had barnburners with Ricochet and Zack Sabre Jr, but has never wrestled for PWG before. Participant number two is current Ring of Honor star Jonathan Gresham, most famously known as Hieracon from Chikara’s Osirian Portal. He wrestled for the promotion back in January.

The third confirmed name is Artemis Spencer, a Canadian star who currently holds belts in Defy Wrestling and ECCW. Finally, maybe the most notable name on the list, Darby Allin, who premiered under the big lights at AEW’s Fyter Fest against Cody Rhodes. Future participants will come via PWG’s Twitter feed, so stay tuned for further updates on who else will be added to the tournament.
