It was in interesting turn of events last night for NJPW as Jon Moxley suffered his first loss via pinfall since he left WWE. It was Jay White on the winning end of the match. Moxley’s other loss since leaving WWE was to Toru Yano by countout.
Jay White was victorious after connecting with the Bloody Sunday DDT and Blade Runner. Gedo interfered in the match moments before the end, but Moxley was ready for the distraction. White took advantage of Moxley focusing on Gedo and connected on a low blow which also allowed Gedo to punch Moxley with brass knuckles.
Moxley still has 10 points in Block B with two matches remaining which is good enough for the lead. The complete standings can be seen below.
