Lex Luger Discusses Time With Four Horsemen

Lex Luger recently sat down with The Hannibal TV, where he discussed not his only career and life in the ring, but a multitude of things. In a new clip, Luger was asked about his time with the Four Horsemen, and how he felt about joining the legendary group.

“I was thrilled, are you kidding me?” he said. “That was the ultimate, pretty much maybe in wrestling, the ultimate heel group at the time. So what an opportunity, and they were great at working with me, from JJ and Tully and Arn. Tully used to go to a barn near outside of Charlotte and take me in the ring to help train me, cause they knew I was part of the group and didn’t want me to be a weak link.”

Luger went on to praise his time with the group, and even remembered traveling with the group in limousines and private jets during their heyday. “Oh yeah, we all traveled together, with the private jets and the limousines. It was quite the entry for a second-year guy in the wrestling, for sure. Lot of fun.” Luger said that he’s seen Ric Flair’s daughter – Charlotte – in the ring, and that he’s heard great things from Arn Anderson’s daughter as well, noting that the skill they had was in the genes.
