Sonny Kiss says he wanted to have the Jacksonville Jaguars’ cheerleaders be part of his entrance for a long time, and is very pleased with how everything finally went down at Fight For The Fallen. Kiss spoke with Wrestlezone’s Dominic DeAngelo at Starrcast III in Chicago about his singles debut, noting that the elaborate entrance was something he’d wanted to do for a few months.
“I actually—I’ll give you guys a little secret—I begged for that for months. I wanted that so bad,” Kiss said, “I was like ‘this would be so cool if I could get the Jags cheerleaders in there, it’ll be so much fun.’ Actually, I wanted it for Double Or Nothing, but I was in the battle royal so it wouldn’t have gone well with [that match]. But to have an actual match and to be the first match, that was really, really cool. Pete [Avalon], I frickin’ love him, he’s amazing. It was a really cool dynamic, having all of the girls there with me. My nerves were really, really bad at some points and it was nuts, but it was awesome.”
