Triple H On George Kittle: ‘He’s Custom Made For Us’

Throughout the build to this year’s Super Bowl, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle’s love of professional wrestling was well-documented. The star player met Roman Reigns and, as described by Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, he also met Triple H. Per Simmons, Triple H was immediately impressed by Kittle. ““In my world, that’s what I do: recruit athletes andfind the next generation of athletes for WWE,” said Triple H via Simmons. “He’s the kind of guy, who is an amazing athlete,
but when you meet him and get to know his personality, you say, ‘oh yeah, he’s custom made for us,.”

Simmons profiled Kittle’s avid wrestling fandom; the tight end has attended several WWE events and he proudly displays his WWE merchandise. Per Simmons, Kittle described what he likes about wrestling. “’I’ve always enjoyed watching (wrestlers) and their mind-set and attitude,'” said Kittle.“’Day in and day out, no matter what, they always put on a great show.'”

Fans and insiders alike think Kittle could successfully transition into sports entertainment. Time will tell what the star tight end’s future holds, but, someday, he could potentially join  long line of dual-sport superstars.
