AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker Planned For WrestleMania 36 (Exclusive)

This could be a phenom-enal addition to the WrestleMania card in Tampa.

According to a source speaking with Wrestlezone, AJ Styles versus The Undertaker is currently being planned for WrestleMania 36 in Tampa.

Styles has been sidelined with a shoulder injury sustained during the Royal Rumble match but he was not expected to miss very much time. Styles himself later said he didn’t plan on missing WrestleMania, and Dave Meltzer also reported that Styles was still involved in plans for the event.

This week’s episode of RAW saw the confirmation that Styles would make it back for the big event as his return match will be at WWE Super ShowDown on February 27 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is one of six participants in the Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match along with Andrade, Bobby Lashley, R-Truth, Rusev and Erick Rowan.

The Undertaker has not competed since Extreme Rules 2019, where he teamed with Roman Reigns against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon. His last appearance on WWE TV came during the September 10, 2019 episode of SmackDown, where he ended up chokeslamming Sami Zayn for interrupting his promo.

As of now, the only match confirmed for WrestleMania is Brock Lesnar versus Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, with Charlotte Flair guaranteed to get a championship match from the brand of her choice for winning the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble.

WrestleMania 36 is set to take place on Sunday, April 5 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
