Cody Rhodes Gives Update On All Elite Wrestling Video Game

Wrestling fans have been waiting for word on a possible All Elite Wrestling video game for some time, and during a recent AMA session with Bleacher Report, Cody Rhodes gave a very honest update about the state of it.

Rhodes sat down with Bleacher Report and took part in an AMA – ask me anything – session for their B/R app, and was asked a handful of questions by fans. One asked when fans might see an AEW video game coming, and according to Rhodes, the aim is to create one, and do it right.

“I’ll give the honest update: the AEW video game will be something all fans know about as we begin the process and as we move forward,” he said. “If we were to make a very good game, which is our intention, it’s going to take time. Game development is arduous, it’s a very creative space, and we want to do it right. We will keep people updated, it won’t come as a surprise, we want them to take the journey with us. Be extra patient so we can deliver.”

While the news that an AEW video game is a goal of the company is great, judging by the answer Rhodes gave, we might be waiting for a bit before one actually releases. Thankfully, it seems as if Rhodes and AEW are adamant about making sure the fans are included in the process, so everyone will hear more when the time is ready.
