DEFY Announces That ‘Summer Is Cancelled’, Events Through August Affected

DEFY Wrestling has officially called off its Summer tour schedule, an unfortunately regular occurrence with all levels of pro wrestling these days thanks to COVID-19. It was also an inevitable announcement, as Defy’s tour was tied into PROGRESS’ summer activities, which were canceled earlier today.

On their website, DEFY details what will happen if you happen to have had plans to attend. DEFYANT ONES, an event scheduled for July 26, is merely being postponed to a hopeful date of September 26. Tickets are transferrable to the new date, but DEFY is allowing for refunds for those who need them.

The rest of the dates (including July 30 in LA, July 31st in Seattle, August 1st in Seattle, and August 2nd in Portland) are now fully canceled, with refunds being automatically processed this week. DEFY encourages fans to contact them with any further questions, but it seems like September may be a big time for wrestling to return if everyone’s plans unfurl correctly.
