Booker T On How Curt Hennig Wanted To Make Him Mr. Perfect In WCW

Booker T has accomplished so much in the world of wrestling, but one regret the two time WWE Hall Of Famer does have is never getting able to work with fellow Hall Of Famer, the late Curt Hennig.

On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame with Brad Gilmore, Booker looks back on that moment and like many would be, Gilmore was surprised that Booker never worked with Hennig.

“No man, he wanted to work with me so bad man when he came to WCW. Wanted to do an angle and I don’t know what it was but they never pulled the trigger on it,” said Booker.

Gilmore asked about if the story was true that Hennig wanted to make him the next Mr. Perfect.

“Yeah he wanted to make me Mr. Perfect and I was like, ‘Man, that’s crazy,'” Booker said. ‘He talked to me about it so many times, man. He wanted to make me Mr. Perfect. Do the whole skit all over again.’

“Shoot a basketball,” Gilmore said recounting the famous Mr. Perfect vignettes of the WWE.

“Yeah it was nuts man. If I got a guy like that on my highlight reel with Mr. Perfect, man. Man, how complete? How complete would the career would have been with something like that, man?

“You would’ve been a three-time Hall of Famer,” joked Gilmore.
