Sammy Guevara Issues Second Apology For 2016 Sasha Banks Comments, Puts Vlog On Indefinite Hiatus

Sammy Guevara announced via his YouTube channel that he’ll be taking a hiatus from social media his usual vlog that gets shared every week, but he primarily got on to issue another apology after being suspended from AEW when a 2016 clip of him making a shocking comment about Sasha Banks resurfaced.

Sammy stated once more to Sasha, to the fans and to the people he hurt by joking that he wanted to “rape” Banks after seeing her during a 2016 try-out with WWE. Sammy said that he is a much different person than what he was in 2016 and made comments like that to shock people. “2020 me would never say those kind of hurtful things that I did in 2016.”

Sammy was suspended by AEW yesterday and will be going to sensitivity training. In the meantime, all of his pay will be going towards a local women’s shelter in Jacksonville.
