Cross charges Bayley, and the champion briefly gains the upper hand. Cross perseveres and hits several punches and dropkicks Bayley. A monkey flip sends Bayley flying. Cross takes Bayley down and bashes her head into the mat. Cross sends Bayley to the outside and slams her face-first into the ring post. Bayley hits a legdrop for a two count. Cross sends Bayley rib-first into the ring post and hits a crossbody.

Bayley gains control of the match and slams her face into a turnbuckle. A suplex earns Bayley a two count. Cross rallies and targets Bayley’s injured rib. Another crossbody earns the challenger a two count. A tornado DDT still doesn’t keep Bayley down for three. An inverted DDT on the apron floors Bayley.

Cross hits a neckbreaker for another two count. Banks tries to slide her ring to Bayley, but Cross takes it. Cross doesn’t use it, but Bayley gains momentum by snapping Bayley’s neck on the ropes. Cross rapidly gains momentum with a flurry of offense. Bliss stops Banks from interfering. Bayley nearly gets a three count by rolling though a crossbody. A backslide earns Cross a two count. Bayley plants Cross face-first into the canvas for the win.

Bliss comforts a clearly frustrated Cross after the match. Cross pushes Bliss away, then shoves her down and walks away. The lights go out and the lights turn red; the Fiend is behind Bliss. He paces around her and kneels next to her. The Fiend moves his hand toward Bliss’ face and locks her in the Mandible Clutch.
