North American Championship Ladder Match: Damian Priest vs Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed vs. The Velveteen Dream vs. Cameron Grimes
Dream pushes Priest out of the way so he can pose on the top rope. Priest floors Dream. Dream clears the ring. Dream lands a big move on everyone. Dream tries to grab a ladder but Grimes attacks him from behind. Grimes pulls a ladder from under the ring but it’s tiny. Priest takes out Grimes. Priest tries a spin kick on Reed but Reed turns it into a powerbomb. Grimes tries to climb two ladders at the same time. Priest and Dream split the ladders, causing Grimes to do a spit. Reed runs over Grimes. Reed flattens Gargano with a senton. Grimes hits the ropes and runs right into a clothesline by Reed. Gargano tries a ranna on Reed. Reed almost turns it into a powerbomb. Gargano hops up the top of the ladder.
Priest pulls Gargano down. Gargano, Grimes, Dream triple-team Reed and Priest. Dream and Grimes hit Reed and Priest with ladders. Grimes tries to hit Priest with another ladder but Dream kicks Grimes in the face. Dream goes up top. Gargano throws a ladder at Dream the hits him in the face. Reed buries the field in the corner with Dream with ladders. Reed splashes everyone in the corner. Reed manages to take everyone out with a tower of doom. Gargano is the last mand standing. Gargano tries to set up the ladder. Reed cuts Gargano off. Reed tosses Gargano with a fallaway slam. Priest almost gets to the top of the ladder but Dream cuts him off. Dream starts to climb. Priest kicks Dreams legs out from under him. Dream falls off the ladder and hits the mat hard. Reed puts a ladder on his shoulders and spins, taking out Dream and Grimes. Gargano surprises Reed with the One Final Beat using the ladder.
Outside the ring, Gargano charges at Grimes. Grimes hits his patented spinning crossbody block. Before Grimes can react, Reed slaps him with a suicide dive. Priest runs up a ladder and dives out of the ring onto Dream, Gargano, and Reed. Candice LeRae runs to ringside to check on Gargano. Grimes climbs the ladder. LeRae pulls him off of the ladder. Gargano holds LeRae’s hands as she hits a ranna that sends Grimes flying off the apron. Reed climbs the ladder. LeRae gets on his back to stop him from grabbing the title. Reed dives off the top of the ladder with LeRae on his back to splash Gargano. Dream sets up a ladder between the middle rope and another ladder. Dream lays Grimes on the flat ladder. Priest chokeslams Reed on a ladder. Dream is about to elbow drop Grimes when he realizes he can grab the title. Priest knocks Dream off the ladder. Grimes tries to retrieve the title only to be stopped by Gargano. Gargano tries a sunset bomb onto a ladder but they miss the ladder entirely. Dream climbs the ladder and gets his hands on the title. Priest tips the ladder over and Dream is sent flying into the crowd. Dream goes headfirst through a table. Gargano and Grimes fight on top of a ladder. Gargano and Grimes both try to hit each other with the hanging title. Grimes ducks it but it swings around and hits him in the back of the head. Gargano thinks he’s won but Priest grabs the title as Gargano grabs the title. Priest wins the tug of war and after knocking Gargano off the ladder, he pulls down the title for the win.
