The Miz Says John Morrison Elevates Him, Sees Him As The Next Breakout Superstar

The Miz says he didn’t recruit John Morrison but he’s definitely happy to see him back in WWE.

Miz was a recent guest on In The Kliq with Baby Huey on 107.7 The Bone in San Francisco to promote his new hit game show Cannonball on USA Network. During the interview, Miz was asked about John Morrison’s return to WWE this year and if he played a role in getting the ‘Friday Night Delight’ back in the fold.

Miz says he didn’t have to convince Morrison too much but he was happy to see him return, adding that his own work prospers because of their dynamic and he sees Morrison as a future world champion.

“Did I persuade him? No, he wanted to come back to WWE. Did I try to help as much as possible? Absolutely, he’s my best friend.

“Bringing him back—he elevates me. He allows me to think outside of the box and no one thinks like John thinks. I think he’s an immense talent and he’s the next big Superstar to break out. I think he’s going to be a Universal Champion or a WWE Champion. I think he deserves to be one because he has that much talent to be one.”

The Miz was also asked about how much longer he wants to compete in the WWE as a full-time wrestler before he devotes more time to outside interests, as well as the reports that Daniel Bryan is writing for SmackDown.
