Adam Cole Says The Undisputed Era Would Make An ‘Incredible Impact’ On RAW Or SmackDown

Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era remain one of the biggest facets of NXT, but with an eye always looking toward the future, Cole said that he believes the group would make a huge impact if they ever moved up to Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated in a new interview, Cole was asked if his upcoming match against Finn Balor for the NXT Championship – which he ended up losing – could act as a fitting closure to his time with NXT.  Cole acknowledged that he knows people may want to see that, but is also very happy with where he is. “I know some people want to see [the Unsiputed Era get called up], but to be part of a brand that is constantly growing, evolving and getting bigger, to be involved in that rise, it’s such an amazing feeling,” Cole says. “I am involved in the growth of a brand I really believe in, and there is so much left for me to do with young talent in NXT. With all that said, of course, I think that the Undisputed Era would make an incredible impact on Raw or SmackDown.”

Cole went on to say that right now, his focus is strictly on making NXT a better place, and that starts with his match against Finn. “All my hard work paid off as NXT champion,” Cole says. “That is the proudest I’ve ever been in wrestling. I’m still hungry and driven to continue leading this company. I can do that better than anyone, including Finn Bálor, and I plan on proving that on Tuesday.”
