All good things must come to an end, but is it time for NXT to lose its most dominant faction?

Kyle O’Reilly gets a big singles opportunity this Sunday when he challenges Finn Balor for the NXT Championship at TakeOver 31 and on last night’s episode of NXT, Shawn Michaels posed the question of tension within the group due to Kyle’s opportunity.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the plan is for Kyle O’Reilly to become a full-fledged babyface going forward with Adam Cole also being a face. However, Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish are not slated to follow, meaning there may be a split amongst the group moving forward on NXT programming if these reports are true.

WrestleZone will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates. We will also have live coverage of NXT TakeOver 31 this Sunday beginning at 6:30 p.m. Eastern.
