WWE WrestleMania 37

Update On Where WWE Wants To Have WrestleMania The Next Two Years

We have the latest update on WWE’s WrestleMania venue planning as per Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer. Rumors have been swirling the past few weeks that Vince wants to move WrestleMania 37 out of LA following Florida’s announcement that venues will be allowed to run at full capacity effective immediately.

Latest reports indicate that indeed the current plan is for WrestleMania 37 in 2021 to be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. WWE would then return to Los Angeles in 2022 so that LA could get the Mania that they were originally promised. This is actually what WWE wanted anyway as they wanted to have the event in LA after the NFL holds the Super Bowl there so that they could beat the football game’s attendance record.

However, LA pushed for 2021 so they could host a large-scale event before the Super Bowl would be in town. They ended up getting what they wanted but now if WWE gets their way, this will be reversed again. It’s pretty much a guarantee at this point that WrestleMania would not be able to be held at full capacity if they stayed in California. What do you think WWE should do in regards to WrestleMania the next two years? Are they making the right choice? Let us know in the comments below.
