According to a new report, WWE’s traditional schedule may not return until 2022.

COVID-19 has altered so many aspects of everyday life in and outside of the WWE Universe. This year, for the first time ever, WWE WrestleMania took place in front of no audience, and while recent reports suggest that we could see something akin to the WrestleMania that we’re used to in 2021, a new report from WrestleVotes on Twitter suggests that WWE’s full-time regular schedule, consisting of not only Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night RAW but house shows on weekends as well, will not return until 2022.

Following several months stationed at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, WWE entered a residency with the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, to give way to the new innovation of WWE ThunderDome, allowing for virtual fans to be seen on video walls during WWE events.

WrestleZone will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.
