NWA Star Joseph Hudson, aka Jocephus and The Question Mark, Passes Away

Joseph Hudson, known to wrestling fans for his work as the NWA’s Jocephus and The Question Mark has passed away due to an undisclosed illness.

NWA owner Billy Corgan posted the following on his Instagram, confirming Hudson’s passing on Thursday night:

It’s with a heavy heart that I share that my friend and brother in wrestling, Joseph Hudson, has passed away suddenly from an as-yet undiagnosed medical issue. NWA fans would know him as Jocephus as well as The Question Mark; where thanks to the great fans at GPB Studios in Atlanta, Joseph was able to receive the kind support in the ring he’d always dreamt of. He is survived by a young son whom he loved dearly, and if anything would pain him about leaving this earth it would be not being able to be there for his boy. RIP Joseph, love to you and Godspeed

Also known as “Jocephus Brody” due to his resemblance to Bruiser Brody, Hudson worked the independent scene early in his career with promotions such as Corgan’s Resistance Pro, NWA: Southern All-Star Wrestling and USWO. While he appeared on some events promoted under Global Force Wrestling banner, Hudson found his highest level of success with the rebooted National Wrestling Alliance under the direction of Corgan.

Jocephus had feuds with Tim Storm and David Arquette (the latter of which resulted in Hudson getting his head shaved) and he would later appeared as the mysterious masked character, The Question Mark.
