Christian Cage once again took to the ring this week for a match against Powerhouse Hobbs, and in a surprisingly competitive affair, Cage emerged victorious on AEW Dynamite.

Early in the contest, Cage and Hobbs looked to be evenly matched, but Hobbs overpowered his veteran opponent. When Hobbs tossed Cage over the barricade, it seemed like he was on the edge of victory. That being said, Cage rallied to prolong the match.

In the closing minutes, Cage had Hobbs locked in a sleeper hold, but the big man broke out out of it and landed a running stampede on Cage in the corner. As he tried to get Cage off of him, though, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion quickly hit the Killswitch on Hobbs to pick up the win.
