Jon Moxley Calls Out Satoshi Kojima For A Match At AEW All Out

During a backstage segment tonight on AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley called out New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Satoshi Kojima, telling him that he wants a match against the legendary star at AEW All Out.

In an interview, Moxley said that Kojima was the only one with the “balls” to send him a match offer, and that if a “crazy old man” like Kojima wants to step into the ring against the “boogeyman of New Japan Pro-Wrestling,” then he would indulge him. But Moxley then stated that once the bell rings, he’ll have no respect for Kojima, and he’ll be trying to make his opponent eat through a straw for the rest of his life. Moxley closed out the segment by saying that on September 5, fans will be watching the “public execution” of a legend.

With the match essentially official, it’ll be a huge return to the scene for Kojima, a legendary wrestler who has been active since the early 1990s. Kojima’s latest stints have been with IMPACT Wrestling, where he most recently teamed up with Eddie Edwards for an unsuccessful shot at the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships.

Despite that defeat, Kojima is no stranger to success, having held multiple championship belts in nearly every company he’s wrestled for; he is a two-time winner of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in NJPW, and he is also a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion.
