Tonight’s NWA EmPowerrr pay-per-view saw the semi-finals and finals of the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament. With The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) facing off against KiLynn King & Red Velvet, it was The Hex that walked out with the recently revived titles.
On their path to the titles, The Hex took down Hell on Hell (Renee Michelle & Sahara 7) in a semi-finals victory, after Kay and Belle managed to team up and hit the Hexecution on their opponents for the win. As for KiLynn King and Red Velvet, they took down The Freebabes (Miranda Gordy & Jazzy Yang) after King landed the Kingdom on Jazzy Yang for the win.
In the Finals match between the two winners, it was The Hex who walked away with the win, after Allysin Kay and Marti Belle hit Red Velvet with an assisted AK-47 for the win after a hard-fought match. Now, the belts have a new home with The Hex, who will look to begin defending it immediately.
