Adam Cole made his in-ring debut during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, and he defeated Frankie Kazarian to pick up an impressive first victory as a member of the AEW roster.
Cole walked away with the win after he took some early flurries of action from Kazarian, including “The Elite Kazarian” hitting Cole with a series of big forearms that nearly downed him. But the AEW newcomer wouldn’t be denied; he ultimately drilled Kazarian with the Last Shot and pinned him for the three count.

Following the bell, Cole took to the microphone for a brief “storytime” with the fans. He sated that hope is a dangerous thing. It’s even more dangerous for those in the locker room who think they can keep up with The Elite before he called out Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Jungle Boy. Cole said that if they’re so tough, he’d like to see them during next week’s episode of AEW Rampage for a trios match against the SuperKliq (Cole and the Young Bucks). Cage accepted the challenge later in the show, so the match is official.
