Pure Rules Match: Rhett Titus vs. Mike Bennett
Titus and Bennett feel each other out with technical holds. The match is a stalemate early on, but Titus gains the upper hand with an abdominal stretch. He gets a two count and backs Bennett into the corrner. “The Professional” continues to ground Bennett and forces him to use a ropebreak to escape a Liontamer.
Bennett rallies with some strikes, and a stiff forearm rocks Titus. He slowly gets back to his feet, but Bennett dropkicks his leg. Bennett targeted the weakened limb and drives it into the mat with a dragon screw. He wrenches the leg and continues to target it. Bennett traps Titus in an ankle lock and forces him to use his final ropebreak. The two men trade blows, and Titus gets a two count with a cradle.
Titus’ leg gives out during a suplex attempt, and Bennett capitalizes with a sunset flip for a one count. Titus gets another two count, and both men keep figthting as the time limit enters its final minute. Both competitors trade pin attempts and clotheslines, and they knock each other down with a double clothesline as time expires.
