Matt Cardona will call back to the “Celebrity Guest Host” era of WWE RAW when he makes a special guest appearance at Game Changer Wrestling‘s “Evil Deeds” show in Detroit on November 12.
During a recent episode of his podcast, “MC! True Long Island Story,” Cardona shared the news and explained that he wanted to be there in person to see his fiance, Chelsea Green defeat Allie Katch.
“I got an email from my agent today that I am booked for GCW in Detroit, and I told him, I said listen, I agreed, I don’t want to do this B-show s—,” saud Cardona. “But I got my deposit so I will be there. Usually I would say no way, like send the deposit back. But Chelsea’s on the show, so I wanna see her just squash Allie Katch, who is like the bootleg, the wish version, if you will.
“But I’ll be there in Detroit. I think I’m gonna spin it like this. Remember like back in the day, RAW would have the celebrity guests? I’m gonna be the celebrity guest at GCW in Detroit. So I’ll be there. It’s like charity work, you know what I’m saying?”

GCW later confirmed the news with a tweet, and Cardona commented by saying that GCW knows he’s “THE star” of the company.
