Booker T Looks Forward To Showcasing Reality Of Wresting’s Best With ‘One Night in Vegas’

Booker T is excited to show Las Vegas and the world what Reality Of Wrestling is all about.

Booker T recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard to promote Reality of Wrestling’s “One Night in Vegas” event at the MGM Grand Conference Center Premier Ballroom on Friday, November 19th. The event will be free to watch on YouTube (with limited tickets available) and Booker talked about taking Reality Of Wrestling to the next level as well as the connection with Las Vegas.

“If you go and do a show and do it big, Vegas is the place to actually do it. We just came off of WWE SummerSlam in Vegas and there was 50,000 people in that city going crazy for professional wrestling. It’s a city that has deep-rooted tradition as far as wrestling goes. I’ve been going there since the beginning of my career and it’s always been a great time and for myself and my wife to be able to get a little piece of the action, to get a little piece of the ‘champagne wishes and caviar dreams’ in Vegas from a perspective like this is awesome. Storm Classic [the event promoter] actually gave us this opportunity to actually get this done and we’re going to take this opportunity to get this going and show the world of the Reality Of Wrestling’s talent. That’s what this is all about, a showcase for my best talent to go out there and show the world how good they really are.

“Now, they’re young guys, I think I’ve got the youngest roster perhaps in professional wrestling as far as one independent wrestling goes, but these guys worked so hard and picked this thing up to the point of where I say I have to get them out there and reward them, I’ve got to let the world to see how good the Reality Of Wrestling talent is, and not only can they can see it on the Reality Of Wrestling YouTube channel, but they can see it for free. That’s what this thing is about more than anything and that’s to see what Reality Of Wrestling is all about. You young guys out there that’s looking to be a part of something, Reality Of Wrestling may be that start. You guys that are looking to perhaps springboard to the next level, Reality Of Wrestling could be that start. We talked about baseball [to open the interview] with the [Boston Red Sox] and the Astros going off of tonight [Game 6 of the 2021 ALCS], we are the Triple-A of professional wrestling. If you want to get to that next level, you come to Reality Of Wrestling and you might be showcased in Vegas, live in front of the world showing how good you are.”

Booker T already announced Reality Of Wrestling had a new television deal that will see the company in more homes, and it was noted that Las Vegas felt like a precursor to the promotion starting to tour more. Booker said he’d definitely like to hit some of the towns that ROW has a television market in, but right now it’s all about showcasing ROW’s roster in Las Vegas.

“We definitely want to hit the towns that are being seen in. Vegas is a town that gets a chance to see a little bit of Reality Of Wrestling,” Booker explained, “so we said let’s go there and show Vegas what we’re about, let the Vegas fans come out and be a part of Reality Of Wrestling. I’m going to tell you right now, there’s already a lot of rowdy Vegas fans that are looking to be a part of this thing. Tickets are on-sale right now, go to RealityOfWrestling.com. But yeah, it’s definitely more so a showcase for Reality Of Wrestling.”

In addition to the live wrestling event in Las Vegas, Booker T, Queen Sharmell and The Boogeyman will be taking part in a meet-and-greet at the show on November 19.

“Boogeyman and I go way back, we had a run-in of course at WrestleMania, I came out on the losing end of it that night,” he noted, “but I think on November 19th, The Boogeyman and King Booker, along with Queen Sharmell, it’s going to be a triple-threat that can’t lose. We’re going to give the fans a treat to get a chance to take a photo with Booker T and The Boogeyman which is really, really cool. I think that’s what wrestling is all about, being up-close and personal with our fans. For me to be in Vegas, it’s going to be a great night for Reality Of Wrestling as well as for all of my young guys who are going to come out and rock the house.

“The main event is Cam Cole versus Will Allday, two of my younger talent. They came to me at my fantasy camp, these are two really, really young guys that came to me the fantasy camp and had no wrestling experience at all and now they find themselves in the main event, showcasing Reality Of Wrestling in Las Vegas. How big is that for some young kid [at home] watching these young kids go out there and do their thing? That’s the way we do our thing,” Booker pointed out. “We have young kids doing big things that inspire [others] to be in their position one day. I have a saying, they say respect your elders for years and I say respect the young guys, because they are the future and they’ve taken Reality Of Wrestling to a place that I could never believe.”
