In a hard-fought match, Rose emerged victorious, despite Shida’s best effort. The interference of Serena Deeb heavily influenced the outcome of this bout, as she attacked Shida and aggravated the injury she dealt to the former champion’s knee in their latest encounter. Later in the match, Rose broke out of a triangle chokehold to drop Shida with a vicious powerbomb. She then countered another submission and trapped Shida in a Stretch Muffler that targeted Shida’s wounded leg. Unable to break out of Rose’s strong grip, Shida was forced to tap out.
With the win, Rose will now move on to face the winner of the quarterfinal bout between Ruby Soho and Kris Statlander. The other half of the bracket will be decided in two more matches; Jade Cargill will face Red Velvet, and Jamie Hayter will take on Thunder Rosa.
