Jon Jones Announces He’ll Be Facing Jake Hager In A Fury Grappling Fight On December 9

Jake Hager is certainly about to face his toughest MMA competition to date in Jon Jones.  The beleaugered and troubled UFC star made the announcement on Saturday, November 20 that he’ll be taking on the enforcer of the Inner Circle at a Fury Grappling show on December 9 in New Jersey.

“I’m excited to announce I’ll be competing for the number one grappling organization in the world, Fury Grappling! December 9th I’ll be in New Jersey competing against WWE superstar and undefeated Bellator heavyweight Jack Swagger,” Jones shared in a Tweet.

Hager is indeed undefeated in MMA fights winning his last bout back in October of 2020 against Brandon Calton. Jones’ recent fight career has been mired in controversy as the former UFC Lightheavyweight Champion was banned from his training gym in Albequerque, NM after an arrest was made for domestic violence allegations on September 24. Jones was accused to have bloody his wife in front of their childern. Jones has not been in a fight since early 2020. Hager, 39, is five years older than Jones.
