After the December 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, the company taped the December 3 episode of AEW Rampage at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, GA.
The show was headlined by an AEW TNT Championship Match, as Sammy Guevara defended the gold against Tony Nese. Plus, FTR faced PAC and Penta El Zero M; Rey Fenix was unable to travel for the show, so PAC replaced him.
