NWA Powerrr Results (12/14/21): Women’s Tag Title Bout, Dirty Sexy Boys In Action

NWA delivered an eventful episode of NWA Powerrr on December 14; it featured the Powerrr debuts of Matt Cardona, JTG and Dirty Dango. Plus, Mickie James and Kiera Hogan challenged for the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The results are as follows:

In an interview, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch discusses Mike Knox and Matt Cardona, who have both picked a fight with him recently. Murdoch pointed out that Cardona likes to show up wherever he wants and putting himself in the title picture. He dares Cardona to take him head-on.

Thom Latimer, accompanied by the rest of Strictly Business, talks some trash about his former stablemate, Nick Aldis in an interview and makes it clear that he’s not finished with “The National Treasure.”

Father James Mitchell speaks for Judais in a promo by arguing that there’s a conspiracy against him because the referee should have awarded Judais the match at NWA Hard Times 2 via disqualification. Sal Rinauro interrupts the interview and asks to join Mitchell, but the “Sinister Minister” turns him down. Rinauro is upset, and Danny Deals tries to soothe him.

Aron Stevens & Kratos defeat The Dirty Sexy Boys (JTG & Dirty Dango)

After the bout, Stevens repeats his previous claims that he’s never been better. In a post-match interview, Kratos says he’s been happy to see Stevens bring out his inner animal, and they’re targeting the gold.

Father James Mitchell has Rinauro perform a loyalty test by barking like a dog, kissing his Judais’ boots, and letting the big man chokeslam him. Rinauro, as commanded, then drinks a glass of blood to demonstrate his loyalty.

In an interview, Melina comments on her defeat at NWA Hard Times 2. She makes it clear that she’s still determined to win the gold and teases that she has some ideas about how she can earn another title shot.

The End are given some interview time; Parrow wants a rematch against the Tag Team Champions, La Rebellion. When he didn’t get one, he decided to form a trio wit Jax Dane, who proceeds to come out and remind everyone that he’s owed a shot at a title due to the Champions Series.

The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) defeated Kiera Hogan & Mickie James to retain the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship

James and Hogan argued after the match.

In an interview, Natalia Markova notes that she has been signed and refuses to comment on her actions last week.

Austin Idol reveals the new name of the group, Idolmania Sports Management; as the junior executive, BLK Jeez will focus on bringing in talent, and Marshe Rockett is his first signing.

NWA President William Patrick Corgan gives an interview and, despite Da Pope’s injury, doesn’t regret bringing Mike Knox to the promotion.

Speaking of Knox, he and Cardona get some interview time. Cardona says he just wants to help his “buddy” Murdoch, and they go way back. He then notes that Knox is his best friend. Cardona makes it clear that he didn’t mean Murdoch any harm; he only lifted the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at NWA Hard Times 2 to see if it really was ten pounds of gold.
